4th edition
VdeV CREATION is pleased to invite you to the 5th edition of the exhibition Métiers d'Art Dévoilés, organised by the Association Vaudoise des Métiers d'Art (AVMA).
In the exceptional setting of the Salle Del Castillo in Vevey , facing Lake Geneva, more than 30 craftswomen and artisans will gather to celebrate the excellence of know-how and the richness of living heritage.
On this occasion, we will have the pleasure of introducing you to our new creations, in a dialogue between matter and light, and of presenting our lampshade-making craft with demonstrations.
On the agenda:
Friday, April 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Opening at 6:30pm with speeches, drinks and musical entertainment (Cie du Petit Grimoire)
Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
VdeV CREATION demonstration on stage from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Sunday, April 26, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
VdeV CREATION demonstration on stage from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Supported by the Vaud Federation of Entrepreneurs and its School of Construction, this edition is also open, for the first time, to professions related to the construction and restoration of heritage, thus broadening the scope of AVMA.

Organised by theVaud Association of Arts and Crafts ( AVMA) , for its 4th edition, Métiers d'Art Dévoilés brought together 18 artisans and arts and crafts, including VdeV CREATION, at the Casino de Morges on May 2, 3 and 4, 2025. An event supported by the city of Morges and always full of new encounters and discoveries.

Lamps from the exhibition can be seen in the workshop
VdeV CREATION presented a collection of lighting fixtures, including a pair of large Saint-Amand & Hamage earthenware lamps from the late 19th century with floral motifs and silk shades, a series of Venini Murano lamps with ecru silk shades, a pair of earthenware lamps with "Coco" cotton shades, and a group of lamps from the 1970s and 80s with a selection of vintage fabrics, chrome fittings, and matching cords. These items can be viewed at the workshop.

Discovering this particularly rare profession in Laurence Zähner's workshop in the hamlet of La Robellaz.

PROJECT
Restoration of the Capitol Lighting
Historic cinema in Lausanne managed by the Swiss Cinematheque
VdeV CREATION was commissioned to restore the lampshades and refresh the wall lights of the Capitole Cinema , owned by the City of Lausanne and managed by the Swiss Cinematheque. The architectural firm Architectum, responsible for the renovation of this emblematic site from the 1930s, entrusted the mandate to VdeV CREATION.

Organized by the AVMA , the METIERS D'ART DEVOILES event will once again bring together artisans and craftsmen for its 3rd edition in the center of Morges on June 21, 22 and 23, 2024 on the 1st floor of the Hôtel du Mont-Blanc and at the Caves de Couvaloup. Come and meet VdeV CREATION in Morges!
WORKSHOP
VdeV switches to solar energy
In an eco-responsible approach, the roof of the VdeV CREATION workshop-showroom has been covered since this summer with 62 solar panels with a power of 25 kWc coupled with a heat pump. More than enough to produce the energy needed for our workshop and our production.

Organized by the AVMA , the METIER D'ART DEVOILES event brought together 21 artisans and 19 trades in three locations in the center of Morges: the Caves of Couvaloup, Espace 81 and the Mont-Blanc Hotel.

Workshop visit as part of JEMA - March - April 2023
VdeV CREATION opened its workshop as part of the JEMA to introduce a large audience to the profession of lampshade maker and lighting designer.

Presentation of the transformation of the Hôtel de Sonloup on the heights of Montreux into a 5-star rehabilitation clinic by the architectural firm RDR architectes SA, which commissioned VdeV CREATION to produce XXL lighting fixtures designed and manufactured to measure.
